Beautiful stationery is something I really love. I always send a thoughtfully-written note to show my appreciation for a nice gesture or gift. I think using customized stationery is a simple but charming way to give my message a more personal touch, so I was ecstatic to receive these prickly pear cactus-printed cards from Basic Invite, personalized exactly how I wanted!
There are so many things I love about these cards! During the process of ordering them, I was blown away at the tiniest details that were all customizable. You can change every color to suit your own taste, from the white background, to the color of the text, down to the tiny spines on the cactus. I played around with different colors, but I loved the print as it already was, so I only ended up changing the text from gray to ‘steel’ (a darker, bluish-gray). I also appreciated that I could choose the text on the front! I kept it simple with “The Davidsons” so I could write any sort of message I want on the inside, not just a thank you.
There are tons of options with the envelopes, too — I was in selection heaven! I settled on simple white envelopes lined with silver foil, with my return address printed on the flap. They also come pre-glued which is awesome to ensure nothing like “The Invitations” incident on Seinfeld ever happens ;) . And for the paper type, I chose the Luxe Velvet which is truly as silky-soft as they describe. The entire process, from placing the order to receiving them, was less than a week; I even got an update email when my order was queued for print. I couldn’t be happier with my cards and I’ve already started using them!
I enjoyed my whole experience with Basic Invite. If you have any upcoming spring occasions, I highly recommend them! They have tons of customizable products for whatever you may need — from stationery, recipe cards, announcements, or invitations — and they currently have 15% off their entire site right now! I’d love to hear in the comments what you’d order first!
