I love a top like this that celebrates femininity. There’s no mistaking it when you see it — the bow tied straps, the peplum ruffle, the sweetheart neckline — it’s dying to adorn and accentuate a lady’s curves. I couldn’t resist it when I saw it! I wore it on a summer day to a beautiful field of Texas wildflowers.
This top looks perfect paired with denim to complement the linen fabric. I styled it two ways because I think it’s just as cute dressed down as it is dressed up. For a daytime look, I wore it with high top sneakers which adds a fun and playful vibe, along with my favorite knit cardigan that I’m almost never without. Speaking of this cardigan, with fall right around the corner, it’s definitely a must-have item to add to your wardrobe! The soft ivory color goes with everything, and the open knit weave is not too warm or too cool. I bought this one in early spring and it’s no longer available, but I linked similar Madewell cardigans below!
To dress the look up for date night, I traded yellow sneakers for my favorite yellow espadrilles wedges. These are absolutely the only shoe you need for getting dressy in the summer. I haven’t found an outfit they don’t look fantastic with! I’ve worn them on the blog with dresses before in this post and this post. I also traded my casual cardigan for a soft pashmina, which is a lovely way to add some warmth around your shoulders when the evenings are cool. I wore this dressier version of the outfit on an evening that we went out to dinner in Georgetown.
This top comes in this beautiful floral print as well as white, which I’ve linked below! Which of the two ways that I styled this top is your favorite? Leave a comment and tell me!
